Here We Go

I think I've always been afraid to put goals down on paper because I might not achieve them...but it's 2012, so I'm turning over a new leaf. Or trying! So without further adieu here's the start of my list.

Non- Fitness:
Be more thankful. And post about it. Sort of like Ali does. Who will probably think I am a stalker now. I do love her leg warmers though and bright colors. More importantly show it.

Keep my apartment cleaned and organized.

Say no sometimes. It's ok to say no, it's ok to value downtime and plan it. Sometimes it's harder to schedule downtime than it is to schedule plans.

SLEEP!! We all need more sleep. It's very important, more important than we realize.

Fitness:
Ring dips Rx - I should be able to do these. I think I am not hollow enough and I don't lean with my chest. Must work on the upper body form while I'm on the band. I

Handstand Pushups Rx - Luckily I have a good coach who is making me working other scales and skills to get me there. Hello stink bug pushups!!!

Broad St. - Last year I did the race in 1:40. It was my longest race and my first "big" one. I was happy. This year I am going to push myself to finish in 1:33-1:35. My goal last year was under 2 hours, clearly I underestimate myself (you will see this as a trend).

Filthy Fifty - one of my favorite Crossfit workouts. Why? Because its low weights and body weight movements and a "met-con." Except for the wallballs....UGH. So my goal is to complete this Rx in 25 minutes.

Pullups - Dammit, I need butterfly pullups in my life. And I'm going to get them. I need to practice them.

As with most things in life I just need to practice. I need to get to strength sessions, especially Westside. I'm sure I'd love it. So what if I'm not a night person....and it might throw off my "schedule." Suck it up, buttercup!
